California Permaculture Research Program

The proposed California Permaculture Research Program at UCLA would create service learning and research opportunities for UCLA undergraduates, graduates, and faculty via participation in Action Research Teams working on Team Green Bite projects.

Morningside High Community Garden (Inglewood)

Stanford Avalon Urban Farm

Team Green Bite member Sylvia Jimenez catalogued the astonishing biodiversity found at the Stanford Avalon Urban Farm. There are 102 different plant species found in this farm alone, including many rare medical plants seldom found outside of Central America.
